Northridge Chestnuts is a delicious new endeavor from the Northridge Blueberries farm. We invite you out for a day of family fun and gather-your-own chestnuts right on the shore of beautiful Lake Erie.
Local and Delicious: Whether you'd like to stop by to pick up a healthy snack on your way home from work, or you'd like to make a day of chestnut gathering, picnicking on the beach, and swimming in the refreshing lake, Northridge Chestnuts is your one-stop shop for all of your chestnut gathering needs.

Payment: Please bring cash or check. We are also happy to accept WIC or Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program benefits through your Homegrown Benefits app or card.
What to Wear: We recommend close-toed shoes and gloves in the orchard. The husks around the chestnuts are prickly — nature's little armor!
Families & Kids: The farm is fenced and the orchard is at the back, so little ones can explore freely without wandering too far. A great outing for all ages.

We now have several varieties of delicious and beautiful pumpkins and winter squash available this fall. A perfect complement to your chestnut gathering trip — come pick up something special for your table.
Starting in early October (bees willing!), we will have honey produced on site by Russ Coltman of Coltman Apiaries. Fresh, local, and made right here on the farm.

Beautiful Conneaut, Ohio is on the shore of Lake Erie. A short drive across I-90 from either Erie or Cleveland, Northridge Chestnuts is conveniently located right on Route 20 — a mere 5 miles from the Pennsylvania border.
Season & Hours
Though opening day is always weather dependent, the chestnut season typically runs mid-September through fall. While in season, we will be open:

Directions
The farm is located at 497 West Main Road, Conneaut, Ohio. From exit 235 on I-90, head north on Rt 193 for 2 miles. At the second light, turn right onto US Rt 20. After approximately 3.5 miles, we can be found on the right side of the road, just past the intersection of Rt 20 and Amboy Road. There is a white fruit stand out front and the orchard is enclosed in a deer fence.
